This project involved the full construction of 73 lots in Stage 2B and the bulk earthworks works for another 82 lots in Stage 2C. Construction was undertaken over the 2016-2017 earthworks season and the very wet 2017 winter period and comprised of the following:
- 210,000cu.m of bulk earthworks
- 1,850sq.m of retaining walls
- 2,500m of storm water piping up to 6m deep
- 1,800m of waste water piping up to 7m deep
- 2,200m of utility services
- 11,000sq.m of roading
Some 112 wet days were encountered up until the start of August 2017 which caused a significant impact to the schedule however the team managed to claw most of this lost time back with handover currently scheduled for 2 weeks after the initial handover date.
The project is expected to be completed well under the budget amount however the client requested additional work to be undertaken which maintained client expenditure at their budgeted levels.
